About this item Made By Carmen:
This piece started out as a solid piece of cherry wood which Carmen takes thru many stages to arrive at this final piece. Carmen starts by turning the piece of wood on a lathe to create the hollow form - leaving extra was thickness in strategic places to allow for carving depth, symmetry and wall even wall thickness. Once the hollow form comes off the lathe, the design is laid out taking into account the scroll pattern dimensions and carved scallops along the bottom of the bowls. Once laid out Carmen then carves both sections with a micro power carver and hands chisels. After the woodwork is completed with sanding and texturing, Carmen then applies a Decorative Verde Gris Patina finish created with many layers of paints and several hours of drying time in between.

- This piece has purposely not had a finish applied to the patina - allowing the patina to continue it's forever aging process

Shipping Policies:
We usually ship within 1-2 business days of receiving cleared payment. This does not include the number of business days the shipping service will take to deliver the item to you.
FREE SHIPPING: Shipping inside the United States are free, Domestic shipping (Priority Mail only) will include insurance and delivery confirmation.
International Shipping is the customers responsibility; in addition to any/all forms required by customs, etc. We will be using Priority Mail International- the prices are based on weight and destination country. We will calculate the price and contact you by email. We are happy to work with a third-party of your choice on getting your item carefully to you, please let us know that information and we will take it from there. If you decide to take care of it yourself, please give us a call and we will work with you on any information you might need to complete the customs form and we can get your order going.
Items shipped to Texas are required to pay state sales tax (8.25%)

Customer Pick Up:
No charge. Customer coordinates with De La Paz Designs on a day and time to pick up their order. Once a day/ time is agreed upon, you will be able to pick up your item at our work shop location.
Return Policy:
We want you happy with your purchase and will gladly give you a store credit (minus shipping cost) for your purchase upon returning the item in the same condition. We must be contacted by email (delapazdesigns11@gmail.com) within 5 days from the confirmation of your delivery date. We will contact you with further instructions. Shipping the item back is the buyers responsibility. All returns must be in their original carton with all packing material intact.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
